Fall Birthday Card

Fall is here!  This year is flying by so fast!  I need things to slow down, just a bit, so I can enjoy the year for a little longer.

I created this Fall "Birthday" card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #681.

For my card I used Stampin' Up! Autumn to Remember, Sweet Jar & Unbounded Love Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies, Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP, Textured Metallic Specialty Paper & Stampin' Spritzer.

Crushed Curry was used as my card base with a layer of Old Olive & Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP.

The background was created with Irresistible Designs Specialty Paper, Blending Brushes and Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry & Old Olive inks.  After applying all the colors, I gently wiped over the specialty paper to reveal the leaves more.  Then I embossed using Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

I do have hexagon punches, but unable to locate them, I searched online for hexagon shapes, traced them onto Textured Metallic Specialty Paper and fussy cut.  They were arranged as desired, adhering in place with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To create the leaves (Autumn to Remember Stamp Set), I used the remaining inks on the Blending Brushes to add ink directly to the stamps.  One large leaf was stamped directly onto Basic White.  The others were lightly misted using a Stampin' Spritzer before stamping onto Basic White.

The leaves were fussy cut and arranged in a cluster.

The sentiment is from Sweet Jar Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

Linen Thread was looped twice into a bow, adhered behind the sentiment and adhered on the leaf cluster with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the embellishments, I chose Metallic Gems, which I thought went perfectly with my Fall card.

Inside my card is Old Olive & Basic White layers.  The sentiment is from Unbounded Love Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea ink.

In the lower corner, I arranged several left over hexagons and adhered an additional leaf over them.

Floral Hello

There's just something about beautiful floral papers!  They are so pretty and vibrant!

I created this "Hello" card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #680.

I used Stampin' Up! Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies, Floral Charm DSP and Extraordinary Flora Bundle.

Blackberry Bliss was used as my card base with a layer of Floral Charm DSP.

To create the shape behind the flowers & sentiment, I cut two strips of DSP - 1" x 3 1/2" and two strips of coordinating DSP at the same measurements.  Then intertwined them together and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

These pretty flowers are from Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, which was adhered onto Basic White and die cut using the Extraordinary Flora Die.  The various floral pieces and leaves were arranged on the card and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

Linen Thread was looped into a bow and adhered behind the sentiment then adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I finished off my card by adding Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots.

I couldn't resist adding more of this beautiful floral paper inside my card as well, topped with Basic White.  An additional washi tape flower was adhered in the lower corner.

Creative Doodling Card

Ever doodle on a card just for fun?  This challenge required doodling on a card.  It took me awhile to wrap my head around it... I just wasn't sure "what" I would do... or what kind of doodling.  Anyhow, I gave it a go and this is what I came up with.  The whole card isn't doodling, but that's ok.  I think you can see the doodles just fine.  :)

My "Thinking of You" card was created for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #679.

I used Stampin' Up! You Are Remarkable & Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies & Florals in Bloom DSP, along with Stampin' Write Markers.

My card was is Timid Tiger with a layer of Cloud Cover followed by Florals in Bloom DSP.

I created doodles on the Cloud Cover using Cloud Cover Stampin' Write Marker.  The darker "dots" were created using Secret Sea Stampin' Write Marker.

I also adding some doodling lines on the larger Cloud Cover layer.

The pretty floral image is from You Are Remarkable Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea, Peach Pie & Summer Splash inks.  I used a Summer Splash Stampin' Write Marker to outline the leaves and shade one side of most leaves for a little dimension.  The image was fussy cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped with Timid Tiger ink and die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.  This was also adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls add a nice finishing touch to my card.

Inside my card is Cloud Cover with doodling around the edges, DSP and Basic White, which I also doodled on the left and right sides.

The leaf image was stamped with Summer Splash, 2nd generation.

Thinking of You

Today's card was created, as a member of the Design Team for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #678

For my "Thinking of You" card, I used Stampin' Up! Textured Notes & Simply Said Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies, Mixed Media Florals & Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack.

Shy Shamrock was used as my card base with layers of Basic White and three layers of coordinating Mixed Media Florals DSP.

The gold hexagon is from Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack.  

The circle was die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.  On the circle I stamped a little texture using Textured Notes Stamp Set and Shy Shamrock ink (stamped on scrap paper first for a lighter image).

The sentiment is from Simply Said Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink.

Linen Thread was tied in double bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

Holographic Resin Dots are the embellishments.

Inside my card is a couple layers of DSP and Basic White.

This DSP makes such a pretty envelope flap!
