Artist Trading Cards or ATCs give you the opportunity to try various techniques with fun themes. It's a chance to be free to create whatever you'd like! I am a member of a small group who swap these ATCs every other month.
For the months of Nov/Dec 2024, the theme is Glistening Trees.
Here's what I created using Stampin' Up! Unbounded Love Stamp Set, Decorative Trees & Greetings of the Season Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder, Winter Meadow DSP, 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper & Three Color Glimmer Specialty Paper.
It was so fun to pull all these products together to create these ATCs!
The background was embossed using Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
Summer Splash ink was added around the edges with a Blending Brush.
Next I lightly tapped the Versamark ink pad over the embossed areas and heat set with Silver Embossing Powder and my Heat Tool.
The trees were die cut from 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper and Three Color Glimmer Specialty Paper. Adhesive Sheets were used to make it easier to add to the ATC embossed background. I also added a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue randomly on the back of the trees to ensure they stay in place!
The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and die cut using Greetings of the Season Stamp Set. The sentiment was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Silver & White Sheer Ribbon was tied in a loose knot and adhered to the left of the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
For the embellishments, I used Loose Snowflakes. To make sure they adhered well, I added drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue where I wanted the snowflakes and set it aside until the glue became tacky. Then I adhered the snowflakes on the tacky glue spots.
