Sending Cheer Christmas Card

'Tis the Season... to make Christmas cards!  If you're like me, I like to get them made ahead of time to avoid that last minute rush!

I created this card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #685.

For my "Sending Cheer" card, I used Stampin' Up! Wishing You Joy & Words for the Season Stamp Sets, Modern Christmas Specialty DSP & Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Basic Black was used for my card base with a layer of Basic White which was embossed using Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder.

The ornaments were fussy cut from the beautiful DSP and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon was wrapped around the layers and tied in a knot.

The sentiment is from Wishing You Joy Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink.  A strip of DSP was adhered behind the sentiment, then adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Loose Gold Sequins are the embellishments in the upper right corner.

Inside my card is Basic White with a strip of DSP along the right.  The sentiment is from Words for the Season Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink.  Two additional ornaments were fussy cut and adhered at the top.

Snowman Christmas Card

'Tis the season... to make Christmas cards!

I created this card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #684.

For my "Christmas" card I used Stampin' Up! Festive Friends Bundle, Wishing You Joy Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies & Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP.

Real Red was used for my card base with layers of Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP.

The snowman was stamped with Secret Sea ink, die cut and colored with Real Red, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Markers.

The circle was die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink and also die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The cute gold embellishments are Flower Accents.

Finally, a tiny bow was added to the snowman's scarf using Black & White & Gold Baker's Twine.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the brim of the hat and pompom.

Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White.  The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink and the snowflakes with Secret Sea ink.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.

Slimline Friend Card with Fall Colors

It's that time of year again... cooler temps at night and in the mornings, but sunny and beautiful during the day.  Fall time is here.  And so it's time to make those Fall cards.  I love all the fall colors!  But the chill in the air, not so much!

I created this "Friend" card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #683

It's been a hot minute since I created a slimline card.  This sketch is perfect for all those fall colors!

I used Stampin' Up! Beautiful Pumpkins Bundle, Stylish Shapes Dies, Earthen-Toned Metallic Specialty Paper & Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

Timid Tiger was used as my card base with a layer of Metallic Paper embossed using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

The pumpkins were stamped using Cajun Craze ink and the stems using Pecan Pie ink.  The vine leaves were die cut using Old Olive.

The sentiment was stamped with Cajun Craze ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The small pumpkin and sentiment were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the embellishments, I chose 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.

To create the background, I began with a strip of Basic White and simply dragged the ink pad over the cardstock, slightly overlapping the colors.  The inks used: Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Timid Tiger, Old Olive & Crushed Curry.

Inside is a layer of Basic White with the leaf vine image stamped with Old Olive ink in the upper and lower corners.

Friends are Flowers...

I created this card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #682.

For my "Friends are Flowers..." card, I used Stampin' Up! You are Remarkable Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies & Peaceful Garden DSP.

Secret Sea was used as my card base with layers of Peaceful Garden DSP.

The circles were die cut from DSP using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The image is from You Are Remarkable Stamp Set, stamped using Secret Sea ink.

The leaves were stamped with Cloud Cover ink, the flower with Misty Moonlight ink and the flower center using Secret Sea ink.

The image was fussy cut and adhered on the circles with Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.

The beautiful ribbon is Misty Moonlight Silver Edged Ribbon.

The sentiment was stamped on DSP.  The stamp was them cleaned and taken off the clear block.

I placed the stamp over the stamped sentiment, matching the words.  Using a pencil I lightly traced around the stamp and fussy cut.  Any pencil lines were erased.

Inside my card is Basic White with a strip of DSP along the right.

Part of the flower stamp was stamped in the lower corner with Secret Sea ink, with the flower stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and the flower center Secret Sea ink.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap as well.
