It's time once again for the Creativate Winter 2025 Retreat! Yay!

This event is held every 3 months and is a weekend full of fun, inspiration, creative tips and great techniques!
Pre-Retreat challenges are held for four weeks prior to the event. There is no time limit to submit your project.
For the Pre-Retreat Challenge #1, the challenge is to:
"Add Color to Embossed Cardstock"
For my "Birthday" card, I used Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder & Delightful Floral DSP.
Berry Burst was used as my card base with a layer of embossed Basic White.
This embossing folder is so fun! To add color, I used Sponge Daubers and Calypso Coral, Berry Burst, Bubble Bath & Lemon Lolly inks.
I have never tried this technique before and I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was to add color to embossed cardstock!
The circle was die cut using Spotlight on Nature Dies and the flower was fussy cut from DSP. Both were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, stamped with Berry Burst ink, trimmed and cut at an angle on each end. The sentiment was also adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Gold Twisted Thread was tied in a bow and adhered in the upper corner of the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
The embellishments are Sunny Days Iridescent Dots.
Inside my card is Basic White with the sentiment stamped using Berry Burst ink. Additional flowers were fussy cut from DSP and adhered in two of the corners.
I even embossed the envelope flap and added color with Sponge Daubers and the same inks used for the card.
