Stampin' Up! Halloween Card

I couldn't resist grabbing the Stampin' Up! Bewitching stamp set again, along with Celebrate Everything DSP and Cottage Wreaths stamps (for the sentiment).

I began with the card base in Polished Pink.  The pumpkins DSP is from Celebrate Everything and beside that I added a strip of Crushed Curry cardstock which was stamped with stars using Memento ink.
A strip of black Glitter Washi was added on the yellow cardstock.

As always, I added DSP on the envelope flap.

A strip of black Glitter Washi was also added along the bottom of the Basic White cardstock below the witches feet.  Black Baker's Twine was looped a couple of times and tucked under the corner of the white cardstock.

The hat and feet were stamped on Basic White cardstock using Memento ink, colored using Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends and fussy cut.  They were adhered with dimensionals onto Basic White cardstock and the edges shaded with Blending brushes and Memento ink.

I couldn't resist stamping the spider hanging off the witches hat.  The embellishments are Classic Matte Dots and the "Boo!" sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set.

Inside my card is DSP and white cardstock.  Using blending brushes and Memento ink, I shaded around the edges of the white and added a hanging spider.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed yet another of my Halloween cards!

Stampin' Up! Bewitching Halloween Card

I decided on a Halloween Card for this fun sketch and used the Stampin' Up! Bewitching stamp set along with Celebrate Everything DSP.

The card base is Granny Apple Green cardstock followed by layers of Celebrate Everything DSP.

Using my Blending Brushes, I shaded around the edges of the DSP using Granny Apple Green ink.
The "Boo" stamp is from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set.
I couldn't resist using the cute spider stamp (yes, I did say cute... which is strange, because I am NOT a fan of spiders) hanging from the witches hat.

The hat was stamped with Memento ink and colored using Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink and So Saffron Stampin' Blends markers and adhered with dimensionals.
Linen thread was wrapped around the DSP three times and tied in a bow.  The embellishments are Stampin' Up! Classic Matte Dots.

Inside my card is DSP and Basic White cardstock, both blended around the edges using Granny Apple Green ink.  And, yes, another spider hanging down.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.  On the front side of the envelope (not shown) is, you guessed it, another spider.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
I hope I've inspired you to make a Halloween card and mail it to someone!

Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn Card

For this fun sketch I used the Stampin' Up! Fond of Autumn stamp set along with Painted Labels and Amazing Thanks dies as well as Rustic Harvest DSP.

I began with the card base in Crushed Curry cardstock then added layers of Rustic Harvest DSP.

DSP was also used on the envelope flap.

This large, bold sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Amazing Thanks Dies.  The back layer is Basic White cardstock followed by DSP for the top layer.  This was adhered with dimensionals and Amber Gems embellishments were the final touch on my card.

The DSP behind the flowers were die cut using the Painted Labels Dies and adhered with dimensionals.  Linen Thread was looped several times and adhered under the flowers.

The pretty flowers cluster were colored using So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Soft Succulent, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends markers.  I know, that was a LOT of different colors... but I love how it turned out, especially with the leaves in different shades of greens.

Inside my card is DSP and Basic White cardstock with a single flower image stamped using Cajun Craze ink.

Stampin' Up! Nuts About Squirrels Card & Tutorial

I chose to use the Stampin' Up! Nuts About Squirrels stamp set along with Abigail Rose DSP.

This is my newest stamp set.  I wasn't sure if I really wanted it, and I'm glad I finally decided to purchase this cute two-step stamping set.  The squirrel images are too cute!

I started with my card base in Smoky Slate cardstock, the next layer DSP and finally Basic White cardstock.

This beautiful DSP looked appropriate for squirrels and used it on the envelope flap as well.

The squirrel was stamped with Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks.  The branch was stamped off first before stamping on the cardstock for a lighter image and stamped twice under the squirrel.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink on Smoky Slate cardstock and die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.  Linen Thread was looped a couple times and adhered under the sentiment then dimensionals were added.  Champagne Rhinestones Jewels were added around the sentiment.

Inside the card is simply Basic White cardstock with the sentiment stamped with Memento ink and a single branch stamped in the lower corner.

Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest & Rings of Love Friend Card

Sept 5th Sketch Challenge.

My card was created using different stamp sets from Stampin' Up! as well as Dies and DSP.

I began with the card base in Basic White cardstock.  Then layered with Stampin' Up! Rings of Love DSP.  Petal Pink Ribbon goes across the center of card and covers where the two different DSP meet.

DSP was also used on the envelope flap.  The tag was cut to fit behind the sentiment.  Festive Pearls were added on the card around the sentiment.

The floral image was stamped with Memento ink, die cut and colored using Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, Evening Evergreen & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends markers.  The Linen Thread was looped a couple of times and adhered under the flowers and adhered with dimensionals.
Another smaller sunflower was also colored and die cut and added in the corner or the sentiment.
The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink and adhered with dimensionals.  The flowers overlap the sentiment.  Mint Macaron ink and Blending Brushes were used to create some color on the basic white around the edges.

Inside the card I added another piece of DSP and layered with Basic White.  A few more small sunflowers were colored and die cut and adhered in the corner.

Soul Scrappers Sept Collaboration with CSI

Soul Scrappers is collaborating with CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration to celebrate their ONE year anniversary on Facebook!

Can you solve this case?

Here's the layout I created:
This is my son taking a selfie, at his job as a tree climber, while he waits for the ground crew to organize themselves before he continues with his chainsaw.

I've added twine behind the upper corner of the photo and a clock is peeking from behind the paper layers.

Wood veneer leaves were added for the the tree climbers theme.

Love this cute wood camera embellishment!  It fits perfectly on this layout!

To solve this case, I used the colours seafoam green, oat beige and dark gray; branches (in photo); framed journaling; wood veneer; leaves (in photo and on pp); wood grain pattern and a clock.

CASE SOLVED!

Head on over to CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration for a new case to solve each month.

And, don't forget to join the Soul Scrappers challenge group on FacebookWe have SIX new challenges each month with prizes!
Do you love sketches?  Then check out our sketch challenge each month.

Stampin' Up! Mischievous Mice Fun Fold Card

Looking through my stamps for food related images and I realized I had several stamp sets, but the one I chose is a fun one from Stampin' Up! called Mischievous Mice.  I also used the Tea Boutique DSP.
And why not create a fun fold!

For my card base I chose Orchid Oasis cardstock, one of the NEW 2022-2024 In Colors.

The DSP was also used on the envelope flap.

This DSP panel was also embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  It's hard to see in this photo.

This is the card opened up.  A super cute fun fold.
The inside has DSP and Basic White cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink and the shading on the edges of the card were created using Blending Brushes and the same ink.

This cute image was stamped with Memento ink and colored using Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends markers and was fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals.
The circle was cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I love the stitching around the shapes of these dies.

The sentiment was also stamped with Orchid Oasis ink and die cut from All That Dies.  Orchid Oasis Woven Metallic Ribbon was looped under the sentiment and adhered with dimensionals.
The embellishments are Glossy Dots.

Card Measurements:

Card Base: 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 and 4 1/4 x 4 1/4
DSP: 2 3/4 x 5 1/4
DSP: 3 x 4
Inside Card: 4 x 5 1/4

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you enjoyed my fun fold.
