August 2023 Paper Pumpkin Alternates - Meaningful Flowers

AUGUST 2023 PAPER PUMPKIN

 The August Paper Pumpkin Kit was another fabulous kit!

I couldn't wait to get this kit and start creating.  I have to say that I usually wait a week or two to see what others are creating, but this time around, I dived right in creating one card after another.

The kit includes everything to make 8 cards, but by adding several other items such as cardstock, dies and stamps, I created 28 cards!  That's right, 28 cards!  And it was SO fun!

Here are a few of my cards (several were the same, so I didn't include them in these photos).

By cutting apart the card bases, I more than doubled my cards.

Various embossing folders were used to add a little more interest on the cards.

I used the Doily Die for several of these cards by die cutting portions of the envelope for this Ombre look.

The background is from an envelope.  I embossed it and lightly brushed a sanding block over the raised portions to reveal some of the white, creating a distressed look.

The Deckled Rectangles Dies were used on several cards as well.

By cutting one of the card fronts in half, I was able to create two cards.

Lots of the Lotus flowers were stamped with coordinating colors listed on the kit and fussy cut them all.

The fronts of the envelopes had this cute little flower image (lower right) that I simply die cut and added a sentiment.

The flowers on the left were die cut from the envelope and the one on the right was stamped.

I loved the envelopes and by cutting these down, I was able to create even more cards!

The background cardstock was embossed (on the left card).  I adhered the left side and bottom of the flowers piece, and added dimensionals behind the upper portion for added dimension.
