Creative Doodling Card

Ever doodle on a card just for fun?  This challenge required doodling on a card.  It took me awhile to wrap my head around it... I just wasn't sure "what" I would do... or what kind of doodling.  Anyhow, I gave it a go and this is what I came up with.  The whole card isn't doodling, but that's ok.  I think you can see the doodles just fine.  :)

My "Thinking of You" card was created for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #679.

I used Stampin' Up! You Are Remarkable & Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies & Florals in Bloom DSP, along with Stampin' Write Markers.

My card was is Timid Tiger with a layer of Cloud Cover followed by Florals in Bloom DSP.

I created doodles on the Cloud Cover using Cloud Cover Stampin' Write Marker.  The darker "dots" were created using Secret Sea Stampin' Write Marker.

I also adding some doodling lines on the larger Cloud Cover layer.

The pretty floral image is from You Are Remarkable Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea, Peach Pie & Summer Splash inks.  I used a Summer Splash Stampin' Write Marker to outline the leaves and shade one side of most leaves for a little dimension.  The image was fussy cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped with Timid Tiger ink and die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.  This was also adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls add a nice finishing touch to my card.

Inside my card is Cloud Cover with doodling around the edges, DSP and Basic White, which I also doodled on the left and right sides.

The leaf image was stamped with Summer Splash, 2nd generation.

Thinking of You

Today's card was created, as a member of the Design Team for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #678

For my "Thinking of You" card, I used Stampin' Up! Textured Notes & Simply Said Stamp Sets, Stylish Shapes Dies, Mixed Media Florals & Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack.

Shy Shamrock was used as my card base with layers of Basic White and three layers of coordinating Mixed Media Florals DSP.

The gold hexagon is from Foiled Frames & Labels Ephemera Pack.  

The circle was die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.  On the circle I stamped a little texture using Textured Notes Stamp Set and Shy Shamrock ink (stamped on scrap paper first for a lighter image).

The sentiment is from Simply Said Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink.

Linen Thread was tied in double bow and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

Holographic Resin Dots are the embellishments.

Inside my card is a couple layers of DSP and Basic White.

This DSP makes such a pretty envelope flap!

Birthday Fan Fold Card

I created this card, as a Design Team Member, for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #677

This was a card that intrigued me to make.  It took a few attempts before I got it right.  Not sure if I will make this card again, but I'm pretty happy with the final results.

For my "Birthday" card, I used Stampin' Up! Charming Day Bundle, Unbounded Love Stamp Set & Floral Charm DSP.

I decided on a new SU color - Timid Tiger for my card base.

I'm really loving the Floral Charm DSP!  All the papers are SO pretty!

The leaves are from Charming Day Dies, die cut from DSP.

Linen Thread was looped twice and adhered behind the sentiment.

I used 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls for the embellishments.

Inside my card is Basic White with a triangle along the right.  The sentiment is from Unbounded Love Stamp Set, stamped with Timid Tiger ink.

I adhered a coordinating DSP on the envelope flap.

Celebrate!

This card was created for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #676.

My "Celebrate" card uses Stampin' Up! Blooming Phrases & Unbounded Love Stamp Sets, Everyday Arches Dies, Lovely Garden DSP & Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP.

Melon Mambo was used as my card base.  A color I rarely used and it's such a pretty color.

The next layers are Basic White, DSP & Specialty DSP.

On the Irresistible Designs Specialty Paper, I added color first with a Blending Brush and Pretty in Pink ink, keeping the center lighter (where the arch die cut would be).  Next I added a darker color using Melon Mambo ink only around the edges.

The flowers were fussy cut from DSP adhering one behind the arch die cut and the smaller flower on the arch.

Linen Thread was adhered behind the sentiment.  The sentiment is from Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, stamped with Melon Mambo ink.

Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels are the embellishments used.

Inside my card is Basic White with a strip of Specialty DSP with a light color of Pretty in Pink added.  The flower was also fussy cut from DSP.

The sentiment is from Unbounded Love Stamp Set, also stamped with Melon Mambo ink.

DSP was adhered on the envelope flap as well.
