Country Birdhouse Birthday Card

Surprise!  I have another swap card to share!

I participated in more swaps than I thought during the month of June!

This one was a super fun card to make using Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Bundle, Everyday Details Stamp Set, Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, Country Lace & Country Woods DSP.

Lots of die cutting was involved with this card, but I love the end results.

The card base is another new color added to the Stampin' Up! colors - Basic Beige.  This color goes with anything!  Love it!

I added another Basic Beige layer that was embossed using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and color added around the edges with a Blending Brush and Basic Beige ink.

Various Country Woods DSP was used to die cut the birdhouse.

The flowers (from Everyday Details Stamp Set) and bird were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop, Peach Pie and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Markers.  The images were die & fussy cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and a few Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.  The bird was colored with Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Pecan Pie (feet & beak) Stampin' Blends Markers.

The sentiment was stamped with Memento ink, trimmed and cut at an angle on each end and also adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

A strand of 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim (Pebbled Path) was pulled apart and one strand used to tie into a bow and adhere behind the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

The Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots matched perfectly with my card.

Inside my card is Basic White with the sentiment stamped with Memento ink.  The DSP strip along the bottom is from Country Lace DSP.

Coordinating DSP from the Country Lace DSP pack was adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.

Spotlight on Nature Thanks Card

Here's another card I wanted to share that was created for another Card Swap for June.  I love participating in card swaps because not only do I get to create my own card, but I also receive that same number of cards back, which is so cool!  Sometimes these cards I receive are starting points for my own card ideas.  Plus, it's really cool to see all the fun folds too!

For my "Thanks" card, I used Stampin' Up! Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set, Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder & Country Lace DSP.

I started with a card base in Misty Moonlight.

The Basic White was embossed with Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.  One or two drops of Misty Moonlight re-inker was added on the inside cover of the Misty Moonlight ink pad. One or two drops of water was then mixed with the Water Painter and splattered onto the background by tapping the Water Painter on your finger, until you get the desired effect.

The image was inked with Versamark and then Misty Moonlight ink and quickly added Clear Embossing Powder to the image and heat set with the Heat Tool for a little shine on the image.

The butterfly was stamped with Memento ink on Country Lace DSP and fussy cut.  The wings were curled slightly upward using your fingers and adhered only on the body of the butterfly with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Linen Thread was wrapped around the layers and tied in a bow.

The sentiment was stamped Misty Moonlight ink, trimmed and flagged on the right.  The sentiment was then gently pressed into the ink pad to ink the three sides and adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Inside my card, the leaf image was stamped with Smoky Slate ink.

The Basic White strip was also embossed and ink splattered to resemble the front of the card.

Embellishments are Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls.  These neutral-colored pearls are the perfect color that coordinate with lots of different DSP.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.

Country Birdhouse Friend Card

Today's card was created for the...

Global Design Project Theme Challenge #451.

For my "Friend" card, I used Stampin' Up! Country Birdhouse Stamps & Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder & Unbounded Beauty DSP.

I'm having so much fun playing with the New In Colors... and this card was no exception... with all those fun papers, inks and Stampin' Blends Markers!!

Basic White was used as my card base with the next layer from Unbounded Beauty DSP, which was embossed using Birch Wood 3D Embossing folder.

Various DSP were used to create this cute little birdhouse!

The birds were colored with Shy Shamrock, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash and Petunia Pop Stampin' Blends Markers.

The birds were "popped" up with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals behind their heads.

The flowers were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Summer Splash, Pretty in Pink & Peach Pie Stampin' Blends Markers.

Linen Thread was doubled up and tied in a bow and tucked just under the die cut flowers with a Mini Glue Dot.

Additional flowers and leaves were die cut using Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Shy Shamrock & Peach Pie.

Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White.  The image was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock and Petunia Pop Stampin' Blends Markers.

Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels were scattered on the card.

The sentiment was stamped with Shy Shamrock ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.  The sentiment was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

DSP was added on the envelope flap and trimmed.
